Typical fees range from $115 to $125 per session, although if you are using health insurance you will only be responsible for your copay/coinsurance (providing any deductible required of your plan has been met). It is your responsibility to verify your coverage prior to your initial session and determine your deductible and copay. Karen will bill your insurance for you after your sessions.
If your insurance company is not listed below and you are still interested in therapy with KR Counseling Services, you may still be able to get a portion of your out-of-pocket expenses reimbursed to you. A Superbill will be available in your client portal after each session so you can file on your own for possible out of network reimbursement. Every insurance company is different and every insurance plan within each company can also be different, so it is important that you call yourself to determine your benefits prior to booking your initial session.

Good Faith Estimate / No Surprises Act
As of 01-01-2022, if you are uninsured or if you are insured and prefer not to bill your insurance for services at KR Counseling, you are legally required to receive a Good Faith Estimate for your treatment under the No Surprises Act. Therefore, if you are uninsured or will not be using your insurance to pay for services, your Good Faith Estimate will be reviewed with you in your initial session if you are a new client, or in your next session after 01-01-22 if you are a current client.
